This session was a very special one for me, as I have lots of history with this family! Mama Julie was my practicum student 5 years ago, and I also photographed her wedding to her wonderful hubby David. This year, they welcomed twin girls into the world; Stella and Mieke (the girls are named after two of their great-grandmothers!). It was so amazing to see Julie in this new role of mom (she would pass this practicum too!). And also to see how completely smitten daddy is- there are two pinkies that he is going to be wrapped very tightly around
