This session was a very special one for me, as I have lots of history with this family! Mama Julie was my practicum student 5 years ago, and I also photographed her wedding to her wonderful hubby David. This year, they welcomed twin girls into the world; Stella and Mieke (the girls are named after two of their great-grandmothers!). It was so amazing to see Julie in this new role of mom (she would pass this practicum too!). And also to see how completely smitten daddy is- there are two pinkies that he is going to be wrapped very tightly around
Little Miss Sophie stole my heart right out of the gate. I looked down at her in her stroller, and she gave me the hugest gummy grin, I knew it was going to be a good session! Mom Andrea brought a ton of adorable outfits and accessories, playing stylist for her sweet little bean. Absolutely smitten daddy Adam, was the bringer of smiles- this little gal loves her dadI am so excited to continue photographing Sophie throughout her first year, I can’t wait until December to see them for her 8 month session!!
Lucy’s sessions are always a treat. Mom shows up with about 10 dresses for me to choose from- yes, for ME to choose from, lol! We met at the beautiful, historic Hatley Castle; which was a setting perfectly fit for this little princess.
This weekend I was thrilled to be able to catch up with the sweet Miss Bailey and her mama Dana. My goodness Bailey has changed so much in one year! She was running around, and chatting up a stormI was so happy to see that she still has her 1000 megawatt smile, and she was so much fun to chase around catching it
So excited to share that Matthew’s party is being featured on Pizzazzerie today! It’s so wonderful when your hard work is recognized by such a respected peer
